A Typical Meeting
If you're wondering exactly what we do to improve our communication skills, this should help.
Our meetings are organized to allow people to give prepared speeches, practice off-the-cuff speaking during Table Topics, and learn how to give effective evaluations during the latter portion of the meeting.
Toastmasters (who are rotated weekly per a schedule) are responsible for the theme and flow of the meeting.
After that, the members themselves create the atmosphere. Groaning from improper use of the word of the day. The chime of the bell from the Ah Counter. Laugher from Table Topics. You just never know.
